الجيش الإسرائيلي أعلن الجمعة مقتل "قائد منظومة الاتصالات" في حزب الله، محمد رشيد سكافي، وذلك إثر ما وصفه بـ"الهجوم الدقيق" في منطقة بيروت.

بيان للجيش الإسرائيلي أوضح أن سكافي شغل منصب "قائد منظومة الاتصالات" منذ عام 2000، وكان مقربا من كبار قادة حزب الله، وامتلك خبرة وصلاحيات واسعة في التنظيم.

منظومة الاتصالات هي وحدة ركن، مسؤولة عن استمرارية الاتصال في الحزب، تطوير وصيانة أنظمة الاتصال في حزب الله، وفقا للجيش الإسرائيلي.

مصدر خاص تحدث إلى قناة "الحرة"، أفاد أن الجيش الإسرائيلي نفذ هجوما واسع النطاق، في حوالي منتصف الليل (الخميس/الجمعة) استهدف المقر الرئيسي لاستخبارات حزب الله في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت.
