Residents of the city of al-Dumayr in the northern Damascus countryside mourned Khaled al-Masoud, who was arrested last Saturday by international coalition forces on charges of belonging to ISIS. Conflicting accounts emerged regarding his alleged affiliation with the extremist group, as well as his subsequent release due to an intelligence error.
