According to information transmitted by the families of the prisoners, parts of the walls, ceiling, and windows in the women's ward have collapsed. Concerns about the physical and mental health of the prisoners have intensified, especially in the absence of medical services and the lack of transfer to reputable medical centers. Some sources have also announced that the detainees in Security Ward 209 of Evin Prison have been transferred to an unknown location; although these reports require confirmation from their families. With a delay of several hours, the media affiliated with the judiciary only mentioned the deaths of several prison staff and described the situation as "normal," a description that is in clear contradiction to the reality of eyewitnesses. The memory of the fire disaster of 23 Mehr 1402 in Evin, as well as similar events such as the fire in Lakan Prison in Rasht, is alive in the collective memory of the people and activists; tragedies that were accompanied by the disruption of communications, the shooting of prisoners, and the neglect of the condition of the injured. Today, in the midst of a trans-regional war, the responsibility for protecting the lives and health of prisoners lies with the security, intelligence, and judicial institutions; a responsibility that, if left unanswered, puts human lives at risk. گزارشی از پیامدهای حملات امروز ، دوم تیرماه ۱۴۰۴، اسرائیل بر زندان اوین

در پی حملات نظامی روز دوشنبه ۲ تیرماه، بخش‌های مختلف زندان اوین به شدت آسیب دیدند. آسیب‌های عمده متوجه فضاهای اداری، دادسرا، محل ملاقات، بهداری، ورودی اصلی زندان، و به‌ویژه بند ۸ و بند زنان بوده است.

بر اساس اطلاعات منتقل‌شده توسط خانواده‌های زندانیان، در بند زنان، بخش‌هایی از دیوار، سقف، و پنجره‌ها فرو ریخته‌اند. نگرانی‌ها نسبت به سلامت جسمی و روانی زندانیان به‌ویژه در شرایط نبود خدمات درمانی و فقدان انتقال به مراکز پزشکی معتبر، شدت گرفته است.

همچنین برخی منابع اعلام کرده‌اند که بازداشت‌شدگان بند امنیتی ۲۰۹ از زندان اوین به مکانی نامعلوم منتقل شده‌اند؛ گرچه این گزارش‌ها نیازمند تأیید از سوی خانواده‌های ایشان است.

با تأخیر چند ساعته، رسانه‌ی وابسته به قوه قضاییه تنها به مرگ چند تن از کارکنان زندان اشاره کرده و وضعیت را «عادی» توصیف کرده است، توصیفی که با واقعیت شاهدان عینی در تضاد آشکار است.

یادآوری فاجعه‌ی آتش‌سوزی ۲۳ مهر ۱۴۰۱ در اوین و همچنین رویدادهای مشابهی همچون آتش‌سوزی در زندان لاکان رشت، در حافظه‌ی جمعی مردم و فعالان زنده است؛ فجایعی که همراه با قطع ارتباطات، شلیک به زندانیان، بی‌توجهی به وضعیت مجروحین بوده‌اند.

امروز نیز در میانه‌ی جنگی فرامنطقه‌ای، مسئولیت حفاظت از جان و سلامت زندانیان بر عهده‌ی نهادهای امنیتی، اطلاعاتی، و قضایی‌ست؛ مسئولیتی که بی‌پاسخ گذاشتن آن، جان انسان‌ها را در معرض تهدید قرار می‌دهد.
