The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Thursday the death of a Syrian national from serious injuries he sustained as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Deir Siryan in the Marjayoun district of southern Lebanon on Wednesday evening. The airstrikes also injured two other people.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that attempts to disarm the Lebanese Hezbollah are not new, stressing that the effectiveness of the resistance's weapons has proven itself on the battlefield. He added that these attempts have recently been renewed amidst some belief in the party's weakness, but the decisive stance of its leadership has confirmed its resilience in the face of pressure.

أعلنت وزارة الصحة اللبنانية، اليوم الخميس، مقتل شخص سوري الجنسية متأثرًا بجروح بالغة أصيب بها نتيجة غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت بلدة دير سريان في قضاء مرجعيون، جنوب #لبنان، مساء الأربعاء، كما أسفرت الغارات عن إصابة شخصين آخرين بجروح.

فيما قال وزير الخارجية الإيراني #عباس_عراقجي، إن محاولات نزع سلاح "حزب الله" اللبناني ليست جديدة، مؤكداً أن فعالية سلاح المقاومة أثبتت نفسها في ساحات المعارك. وأضاف أن هذه المحاولات تجددت مؤخراً وسط اعتقاد البعض بضعف الحزب، لكن موقف قيادته الحاسم أكد صموده أمام الضغوط.
