The Israeli occupation assassinated five journalists, including Al Jazeera correspondents Anas al-Sharif and Mohammed Qariqa, in a direct attack on the journalists' tent near al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

The journalists assassinated by the treacherous Israeli hand are:

Martyr journalist Anas al-Sharif, Al Jazeera correspondent.

Martyr journalist Mohammed Qariqa, Al Jazeera correspondent.

Martyr journalist Ibrahim Daher, photojournalist.

Martyr journalist Mo'men Aliwa, photojournalist.

Martyr journalist Mohammed Nofal, assistant photojournalist.

The assassination was premeditated and deliberate, targeting the journalists' tent near al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. This heinous crime also resulted in injuries to several other journalists.

With the assassination of the five journalists by the occupation, the number of martyred journalists killed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip during the genocide and up to now rises to 237 martyred journalists.

وقد تمت عملية الاغتيال مع سبق الإصرار والترصد بعد استهداف مقصود ومتعمد ومباشر لخيمة الصحفيين في محيط مستشفى الشفاء بمدينة غزة، وقد أسفرت هذه الجريمة النكراء أيضاً عن إصابة عدد من الزملاء الصحفيين الآخرين.

وباغتيال الاحتلال للزملاء الصحفيين الخمسة يرتفع عدد الشهداء الصحفيين الذين قلتهم الاحتلال في قطاع غزة خلال الإبادة الجماعية وحتى الآن إلى 237 صحفياً شهيداً.
