The Ministry of Health in Gaza: Three deaths from Guillain-Barré syndrome have been recorded, two of them children under the age of 15, after attempts to save them failed due to the lack of necessary treatment due to the blockade.

We warn of a dangerous increase in cases of acute flaccid paralysis and Guillain-Barré syndrome among children in the Gaza Strip, as a result of atypical infections and the worsening of acute malnutrition.

Medical tests have revealed the presence of intestinal viruses other than polio, confirming the existence of a fertile environment for the uncontrolled spread of infectious diseases.

We warn that the continuation of this environmental situation and the lack of necessary treatments threatens the widespread spread of the disease within the Gaza Strip.

We call on all international and humanitarian organizations to urgently intervene to provide life-saving medicines and treatments and to end the blockade immediately to halt the health and environmental deterioration in the Gaza Strip.

كشفت الفحوصات الطبية عن وجود فيروسات معوية غير شلل الأطفال، مما يؤكد وجود بيئة خصبة لانتشار الأمراض المعدية بشكل خارج عن السيطرة

نحذر من ان استمرار هذا الوضع البيئي وعدم توفر العلاجات اللازمة تهدد بالانتشار الواسع للمرض داخل قطاع غزة

نناشد جميع المنظمات الدولية والإنسانية بالتدخل العاجل لتوفير الأدوية والعلاجات المُنقذة للحياة وإنهاء الحصار فوراً لوقف التدهور الصحي والبيئي في قطاع غزة
