زندانیان از او به نیکی یاد می‌کنند. می‌گویند هنگام حمله‌ی نمادین اسرائیل به درمانگاه اوین، در حال ویزیت یکی از بیماران بوده، دکتر از بیمار می‌خواهد زیر میز پناه بگیرد.
بیمار زنده می‌ماند و دکتر جانش را از دست می‌دهد.
