Between eight and 10 civilians, including seven children and one woman, were killed and at least 12 were wounded from thermobaric missile airstrikes targeting the village of Minaz. However, local sources were conflicted as to who was responsible for the airstrikes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Syrian Network for Human Rights attributed Syrian regime planes to blame, while most other sources including Shaam Network and Qasioun News Agency alleged that Russian planes were to blame for the attacks.<\/p>\n

The commander of the civil defence in the western sector of Aleppo, Mohammed Hallak, stated that the civil defence retrieved the bodies of an entire family of four that were killed by the airstrikes. Those that were injured sustained serious injuries that may have caused the number of civilians killed to rise after the time of reporting.<\/span><\/p>\n
