One civilian was reported killed and two to eight civilians, including at least one child, were injured in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on the industrial zone Al Mantiq Al Sina\u2019iya, in the vicinity of Idlib, on June 18th, 2019, according to local sources.<\/p>\n
@syr_television reported that “one person was killed and three others were wounded in the bombing of the industrial zone in the vicinity of the city of Idlib.”<\/p>\n
Smart News documented the destruction in the aftermath of the airstrike, and reported that, not only did the attack result “in the killing and wounding of civilians”, but also “the destruction in the shops.”<\/p>\n
According to this source, “the wounded, some critically, were taken to the nearest hospital.”<\/p>\n
While many sources cite three as the number injured in the attack, Shahba Press tweeted that eight had been wounded, and Idlib Plus claimed that two were injured, including a child, in the airstrike.<\/p>\n
The Syrian Civil Defence posted photos of their volunteers providing aid to an injured child, According to their Facebook post, the victim’s name is Hussein, a displaced child from the countryside of Hama.<\/p>\n
A few sources attributed the strike to the Syrian regime, while one source named both Russian forces and the Syrian regime in reporting the incident. Meanwhile, most other sources did not positively attribute blame for the attack.<\/p>\n
