Airwars Assessment

Last Updated: March 29, 2025

On November 9, 2023, Israeli military shelling or airstrikes allegedly struck a number of citizens’ homes around UNRWA’s Al-Fakhoura Clinic, west of Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza strip. There were reportedly six injuries, though the names of victims are not known at this time.

The incident was covered by Shehab Agency and Hudhud News Network and also circulated by a number of individual people, all of whom reported that six people had been injured, with the exception of a Facebook post from Hani Alshaer who only mentioned “injuries” without providing a toll.

While a Facebook post from Hani Alshaer was the only source to directly attribute the strike to the Israeli military, the mention of both “shelling” and “warplanes” by local sources likely refers to Israeli forces based on their capabilities. Therefore, this incident has been graded as a “likely strike”.
