Shortly before 2:00 PM on Tuesday, 7th November 2023, multiple sources reported that an alleged Israeli bombing hit a house belonging to the Abu Mughsib (Maghsib) family in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, killing and injuring a number of civilians and up to dozens of civilians.
News agency @qudsn was the first to report the incident at 2 PM, followed by other Twitter/X users reporting at 2:01-2:03 PM. The tweet by @qudsn mentioned “two Palestinians killed and injured” in the bombing, while @Sa7atPl similarly reported “two martyrs and wounded.” However, no names, ages, or biographical details of those killed or injured have been provided by any source. No confirmation from hospitals or official health authorities has yet been made publicly available.
The report, published by Safa.ps at 3:36 AM, claimed the larger number of casualties. It stated: “A large number of martyrs and wounded in a bombing targeting a house for the Abu Maghsib family in Deir al-Balah.” Other local news outlets and social media posts, including those by Abbas Al-shaibani, MsdrNews, Awdehchannel, and Beit Dajan Today, also reported that fatalities and injuries had occurred as a result of the strike, though without specifying numbers.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all attributed the strike to the Israeli military.
