Shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, an alleged Israeli airstrike hit the al-Kazemi family’s house on al-Sahiya Street in central Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. The incident resulted in the death of one civilian woman, 29-year-old Tasneem Abdul Nasser al-Kazemi, and the injury of at least several others, with reports of up to thirteen civilians wounded. The deceased and the injured were taken to the Nasser Medical Complex.
At 3:01 p.m., @ShehabAgency reported on Twitter/X, marking the information as urgent: “A martyr and a number of injuries in the occupation’s bombing of the al-Kazemi family’s house on al-Sihha Street behind the Grand Mosque in central Khan Yunis.” Similar information was shared by other news agencies and journalists. Khabar24 news added more information about the nature of the strike: “Occupation aircraft targeted a house on al-Sahiha Street, behind the Grand Mosque, in the center of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.”
Omar Ali Awad al-Minyawi, shared on Facebook about the death of Tasneem Abdul Nasser Al-Kazemi: “In the care of God. The virtuous neighbor / Tasneem Abdul Nasser Al-Kazemi. And 13 injuries. As a result of the occupation aircraft bombing a house in the middle of Khan Yunis. We ask God for safety. And mercy and forgiveness.”
Sky Suha, a cousin of Tasneem, shared a message of condolence on Facebook – “…My beloved cousin, Tasneem al-Kazemi, has ascended to heaven…May God have mercy on her and accept her among the martyrs and the righteous…”
While there was not much information publicle available about the victim, Tasneem’s name was matched to the second Palestinian Ministry of Health (MoH) list released on January 7, 2024, which included her national ID number (804510402), and also allowed Airwars to record her age as 29 years old.
No information is available about the civilians injured in this incident.
