Shortly before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, 8th November 2024, at least seven people were killed, and a number of others injured when an alleged Israeli strike hit the Wahba family home near the Zahour intersection in Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.

Information about the incident first appeared at 1 a.m. in a tweet by Shehab Agency, citing deaths and a number of injuries. Shortly after, several other news agencies, including Pal Today TV and The Palestine Information Center, corroborated the information and made similar reports.

More information appeared later that morning. Several Facebook users, including Al Sahfia Ahlam Abo Seta, a member of the press, reported seven deaths as a consequence of the incident. The victims have not yet been identified, and the exact number of injuries is unconfirmed. This assessment will be updated if more detailed information emerges.

Alghad TV released a video depicting an explosion occurring at night, a large plume of fire rises into the sky over a residential area.

Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the incident to Israeli forces.
