On 16 December 2024, multiple injuries were reported as a result of alleged Israeli drone fire in the surrounding area of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia Project, northern Gaza. Reports claimed that the intensive care department on the third floor of the hospital was damaged in the attack.

Shehab News reported the attack via Twitter/X, stating there were injuries as a result of Israeli drone fire. Alarabiya.Palestine via Facebook also reported the attack and claimed that the Israeli military had used drones to bomb the area surrounding Kamal Adwan Hospital.

Al Jazeera, via Facebook, shared a video report on the event, claiming that witnesses had reported continuous shootings in the area since daybreak aimed at civilians either in their homes or while out on the street, with witnesses saying that the drones were firing on everything that moved.

According to the reporter, those injured in the attack had sustained wounds that were described as very dangerous. Al Jazeera specifically reported damage to Kamal Adwan Hospital’s intensive care unit on the third floor, saying that the attack had spread fear amongst the most ill at the hospital.

No sources reported an exact number of injuries as a result of the attack, but all sources reported multiple injuries as a result of the drone strikes.
