An airstrike allegedly conducted by Israeli forces the morning of November 10, 2023 resulted in injuries. The airstrike hit a civilian vehicle in the courtyard or front entrance of al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City.

Video documentation of the strike’s aftermath and civilians being harmed was posted to X by @PalinfoAr and originally recorded by Saleh Aljafarawi. In Arabic, bystanders can be heard crying in disbelief that the strike was carried out so close to the hospital. According to the footage, there were two victims of the strike. One individual lay unconscious in his car closest to the hospital and was carried out by three bystanders. The car can be seen in a dilapidated state with severe damage to the inside of the vehicle. Another person is shown heavily bleeding as he was carried out in a stretcher. At the end of the footage, there is video footage of the bomb which exploded as dozens of people can be seen standing at the hospital’s entrance.

@TRTArabic also published a video taken during shelling which struck ambulances near the gate of al-Shifa hospital – in the video, explosions can be seen everywhere and emergency medical workers are seen ducking and hiding in their ambulance from the explosions in a terrifying scene.

Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to the Israeli military.
