On March 18, 2025, Mustafa Kallab was reportedly injured by shrapnel from a bomb fired by a quadcopter in Tal al-Sultan in the Gaza Strip.

In a Facebook post, Hussein Kallab reported the injury to his brother Mustafa and asked to pray for his recovery. He added the image of Mustafa, a teenager or a young man with short dark hair wearing a white hoodie.

Further details about the exact place and time of the incident are unknown.
