On March 18, 2025, an elderly woman was killed, and two children were injured following an alleged Israeli attack in Deir al-Balah. The exact time and location of the incident remain unknown.
The name of Ataf Ezzat Saeed al-Naqla was mentioned by the Beach Camp page 🇵🇸 on Facebook among 30 martyrs who arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah as a result of Israeli raids. Shireen monitor, which has a list of “martyrs” of Israeli forces from 2023 onwards, mentioned that Ataf was 62 years old at the moment of her death and was killed in Deir al-Balah.
Ibrahim Abu Aisha, on his Facebook post, sent condolences to their cousins on the loss of their mother, Ataf Ezzat Saeed Al-Naqla (Umm Ahmed) and wished a speedy recovery to the family’s children, Maryam and Amir.
Mohammed N. Imad, Ali M. Imad and Mahmoud N. Imad expressed deep sorrow over the loss of their beloved aunt, Ataf Al-Naqla (Umm Ahmed). Similarly, Nouman Imad mourned her passing, sharing a heartfelt tribute: “With hearts that believe in God’s will and destiny, we received the news of the martyrdom of our beloved aunt, Ataf Al-Naqla (Umm Ahmed), who passed away after a life filled with giving and love. She was everyone’s mother – a haven of compassion – and words cannot express the magnitude of our loss.”
Alaa N. Imad expressed sorrow upon receiving the news of the passing of her beloved grandmother, Ataf Al-Naqla (Umm Ahmed), describing the moment as “like a thunderbolt.” She wrote further, “Goodbye, kind-hearted mother. Goodbye, sweetheart,” and offered heartfelt prayers for strength and patience, especially for her grieving father during this difficult time.
