On the morning of April 16, 2025, two people were reportedly injured in an alleged naval attack on a fishing boat off the coast of Khan Younis, in Al-Mawasi, Gaza. All sources allege that the attack had been perpetrated by Israeli naval forces.

The incident was first reported in a tweet by Snd News Agency, published at 7:54 a.m. on the day. It was later picked up by Shaab Radio, Palestine Post, and other Palestinian news outlets. As most of the subsequent posts and reports directly paraphrased the original Snd News Agency source, and no further information has been released by official sources or individuals on the circumstances of the attack and the identities of the victims, this incident has been graded as a “single source claim” until more information comes to light.

Reports of the incident mention the sea area to the west of Khan Younis in the Al-Mawasi area (ساحل بحر خان يونس). Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to find boundaries for the area and to verify the location further.
