On 3 May 2025, three fishermen including a child were reportedly injured when an Israeli naval ship allegedly fired on them off the coast of al-Sudaniya in North Gaza.
Safa News reported that two fishermen, Anis Muhammad Ahmed al-Sultan and his nephew Muhannad Ahed Nahed Muhammad al-Sultan (also referred to as Ahed Nahed Muhammad al-Sultan), were reportedly injured in the incident, alongside a boy from the same family, Waseem Anis Muhammad al-Sultan.
Safa News and other sources reported that their injuries were sustained when an Israeli naval ship opened fire on them in the sea off the coast of al-Sudaniya, to the west Beit Lahia in the north of the Gaza Strip above Gaza City.
The Fishermen’s Syndicate via Facebook, reported that the trio sustained moderate injuries and sent them well wishes for a successful recovery.
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli Navy.
