Shortly before 7:15 a.m. on May 29, 2025, a number of Palestinian civilians were injured and killed in a shelling allegedly conducted by the Israeli military while attempting to retrieve humanitarian aid from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation on al-Tina Street in Khan Younis.
Several people posted in the early morning to report an attack at the distribution center north of Rafah on Al-Tina Street resulting in “martyrs and wounded”. At 7:15 AM local time, Rafah City News posted a call for ambulances for groups of families “heading to receive American aid” at the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid center in Rafah. Many other users re-shared similar messages confirming the location and the injury of a group of civilians.
User Sadoon Daher on Facebook warned readers against going to distribution centers, calling them a trap with the risk of being bombed and killed.
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli military.

Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
