Airwars Assessment
A fisherman was injured during the morning of 28 June 2025, reportedly after Israeli warships allegedly opened direct fire near the Fisherman’s Port west of Gaza City.
The incident was reported on social media, including by Al-Youm News, a Palestinian media outlet.
All sources identified the belligerent and attributed the strike to the Israeli military. However, due to the repetitive nature of the reporting and lack of information on civilian harm, Airwars had graded the strike status of the incident as “single source claim”, and the civilian harm status as “weak.”
