On the 29th of June 2025, at least one individual was reportedly killed and several others injured after Israeli forces allegedly opened fire on people waiting for aid near the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation distribution site near the Netzarim axis, close to the Wadi Gaza Bridge in central Gaza.

Multiple social media sources reported the incident. Peace Star, posting on Facebook, claimed that Israeli forces fired flares near the Gaza Valley Bridge and that heavy gunfire was heard in the surrounding areas. The source also shared a photo that appeared to show flares being fired, lighting up the night sky with a red hue.

Other Facebook users, such as News Source, echoed these claims, reporting one “martyr” and several injuries. However, no sources provided further identifying information about the victims or the severity of their injuries.

Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to the Israeli military.
