Airwars Assessment
At least one child was injured by an alleged Israeli airstrike on al-Jinan Kindergarten during lessons on July 21, 2025.
Safa News reported that a child had been injured by Israeli airstrikes on a kindergarten near a camp for displaced persons “in the vicinity of the municipal park in the Al-Rimal neighborhood” in Gaza City. Megaphone News specified that ”several children were injured” in the attack on al-Jinan Kindergarten, adding that the bombing had struck the roof of the building housing the kindergarten and other sources specified that the kindergarten was on the ground floor.
@PalinfoAr published a video on Telegram of “injuries and panic among children” within the kindergarten – in the graphic video, children can be heard screaming and crying and one young boy is seen with blood covering his face. Men and women are trying to evacuate tens, possibly hundreds, of children of all ages from the school. Sahat News specified that the strikes occurred while the children were inside the classrooms receiving their lessons in one of the few remaining kindergartens.
Images posted by @Macario218 and @WAFA_PS reportedly show the building which was struck, and smoke can be seen rising from the roof, described as “heavy smoke”.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strikes to the Israeli military.
