32-year-old Muhammad Jamal Abu Yusuf was killed in an alleged Israeli bombardment on his home in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis city, on 13 June 2025.
Muhammad’s friend, Yasser Sami, admitted that though people had become “accustomed to death,” still, “our hearts are not used to the bitterness of separation.” To become used to this would be impossible, Yasser wrote, because it would mean becoming habituated to a world without people, like Muhammad, who “were an inseparable part of every chapter of life.” Yasser asked that Muhammad be reunited with friends and relatives who had been killed previously, and that, when the time came, “God reunite us with you in His Paradise.”
A photograph of Muhammad shows him in a blue shirt and beige quilted gilet.
Muhammad’s name was matched with the twelfth publication of the Palestinian Ministry of Health List of Fatalities in Gaza.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to the Israeli military.
