The martyrs's father says about Sarvi's personality traits: "Her exemplary self-confidence made her a successful young role model among her classmates and professors at North Tehran Azad University and later in her workplace. She had a strong and effective presence in every group she entered. Her work interactions were precise and professional. She established warm but purposeful human relationships with colleagues, managers and even customers. "She had a bright future for himself. However, she never dreamed of emigrating abroad. همشهری آنلاین_ ثریا روزبهانی : اضطراب و ترس ‌بندبند وجود محمدحسین واعظ‌زاده، پدر سروناز، و همسرش را پرکرده بود؛ چراکه شب پیش حوالی منزل سروناز در محله اقدسیه هدف اصابت موشک قرار گرفت. واعظ‌زاده می‌گوید: «سروناز هم نگران بود؛ چون همه ساکنان ساختمان آن شب را در خیابان گذرانده بودند. به همین خاطر صبح روز بعد، با او تماس‌های متعددی گرفتم تا آرام شدن شرایط فعلی به سبزوار برگردد، اما گفت کار مهمی در شرکت دارد و آن را که انجام دهد، راهی می‌شود. آن روز به منزل یکی از دوستانش در خیابان سهرودی رفت. زمانی که صدای موشک را شنیدند، می‌خواستند از خانه فرار کنند، اما آوار شدن ساختمان به آنها مجال نداد و سقف بر سرشان فرو ریخت. هرچه با او تماس می‌گرفتیم بی‌نتیجه و بدون پاسخ بود. تنها چند دقیقه پس از ریزش آوار، نیروهای امدادی سروناز را پیدا کردند. ساعاتی بعد، یکی از دوستانش تماس گرفت و خبر شهادتش را به ما اطلاع داد. پیکر سروناز به پزشکی قانونی منتقل شد و پس از انجام مراحل قانونی، سروناز به سبزوار آمد؛ شهری که خانه‌اش بود، اما نه برای تجدید دیدار؛ بلکه برای وداع آخر.» روزی ۲۰ بار به ما زنگ می زد پدرش از رابطه عاطفی عمیق میان خود، همسرش و سروناز می‌گوید؛ رابطه‌ و علاقه ای که فراتر از مناسبات مرسوم پدر و مادر و فرزند بود و اکنون نبود سروناز زندگی را برای آنها سخت کرده است: «سروناز دخترم بود، اما نه فقط دختر، رفیق جانم بود؛ درست مثل دو دوست قدیمی که هیچ حرفی را از هم پنهان نمی‌کنند. هر روز شاید ۲۰ بار به من زنگ می‌زد، ۲۰ بار به مادرش. از جزئی‌ترین مسائل روزمره تا موفقیت‌های بزرگ کاری‌اش را با شور و شعف تعریف می‌کرد. سروناز اهل مشورت، گفت‌وگو و همدلی بود. هم و غمش این بود که خودش مسیر زندگی‌اش را بسازد. عاشق استقلال بود؛ با انگیزه و مصمم. سروناز، نیمی از قلبم بود. تمام خاطراتش شیرین‌اند. شیطنت‌های خاص خودش را داشت. ما به شوخی او را "سَروی" صدا می‌زدیم. اما حالا مادرش تهران است و حال روحی خوبی ندارد. اکنون همان ویس‌هایی که برایمان می‌فرستاد، طنین خوش‌آواز صدای سروی را برایمان زنده می‌کند. ما فقط زنده‌ایم و به عشق فرزند دیگرمان نفس می‌کشیم.» الگوی جوان موفق او از ۱۸ سالگی و بعد از قبول شدن در دانشگاه، به تهران نقل مکان کرد و نزدیک به ۱۳ سال در این شهر سکونت داشت. پدر شهید در مورد ویژگی‌های شخصیتی سروناز می‌گوید: «اعتماد به نفس مثال‌زدنی‌اش، او را در میان هم‌گروهی‌ها و استادان دانشگاه آزاد تهران شمال و بعد از آن در محیط کارش به الگوی جوانی موفق بدل کرده بود. در هر مجموعه‌ای که وارد می‌شد، حضوری پررنگ و مؤثر داشت. تعامل‌های کاری‌اش دقیق و حرفه‌ای بود. با همکاران، مدیران و حتی مشتریان، روابط انسانی و گرم اما هدفمند برقرار می‌کرد. آینده روشنی برای خودش ترسیم کرده بود. بااین‌حال، هیچ‌گاه خیال مهاجرت به خارج از کشور را در سر نپروراند. او می‌گفت: ایران برایم رنگ دارد؛ اینجا نفس می‌کشم. آرزو داشتیم روزی او را در لباس عروسی ببینیم، اما نشد. با لباس سفید شهادت رفت، نه لباس عروسی.»
