Airwars Assessment
On June 17th 2025, three people were injured as a result of an alleged Israeli strike on a residential building located on Hoveyzeh Street in Tehran. The street is situated close to Tehran’s Mosalla and an Embassy on Pakistan Street.
A video uploaded to Facebook by @Iran International showed a team of red-clothed rescue workers attempting rescue efforts amongst the rubble of a residential building. A video uploaded by @IRNA on X/Twitter also depicted the same scene.
The CEO of the Red Crescent Society, Shahin Fathi, noted that three people were located under the rubble of the residential building, and further commented that two of the survivors, a man and a woman, were alive and well. @etemadonline also reported that a man and two women had emerged from the rubble. Reports of an identical nature were also shared by agencies such as @reportSeven and Alef.ir.
While Magiran News reported on June 18th that the strike had occurred “three days ago,” all other reporting came from the 17th. To account for the possibility that the strike occurred earlier, a date range has been applied.
At the time of writing, there is no further information on the status of the three individuals rescued from the rubble. Where sources named a belligerent, all attributed the incident to the Israeli military.
