Airwars Assessment
During the morning of October 10, 2025, the body of a person was recovered in New Street in the Al-Nafak area, east of Gaza City, following an alleged Israeli bombing that had occurred a few days earlier.
The incident was reported on social media by many users and news outlets like @PalinfoAr, @yaffa_ps and @qudsn, but, unfortunately, there is no information about the victim, except that he was a member of the Jaarour family. In addition, Mahmoud Abu Zanada Media Platform wrote on Facebook that his body was brought to the Baptist Hospital.
The available information indicated that the body was recovered on 10 October, while some sources reported that the strike occurred several days earlier. As the exact date is unclear, the date has been recorded as October 8th, 2025, until further information comes to light.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to Israeli forces. However, due to the repetitive nature of reporting and the lack of information on the civilian harm, Airwars has graded the strike status of the incident as a “single source claim”, and the civilian harm status of the incident as “weak.”
