Airwars Assessment
On October 14, 2025, a man succumbed to his wounds due to a previous alleged Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis City, south of the Gaza Strip.
The victim was the young man Abdullah Tayseer Abu Ta’ima, and in a picture shared online appeared to have thick, dark hair and eyebrows, a very slim build, a serious expression, and light facial hair.
No further information was found regarding the young man, his injuries, or the exact date of the airstrike. In light of ambiguity surrounding the day of the airstrike and initial injury, Airwars has recorded this incident as having occurred within a time period of one week from his death, so between October 7, 2025 and October 14, 2025. Airwars will update the incident should new information come to light.
The Facebook profile “The Abu Ta’ima family gathering in the homeland and the diaspora” announced the passing of Abdullah, asking for prayers and forgiveness on his behalf, and called on anyone with personal grievances to forgive him.
In another social media post, the aunt Ayesh Abu Ta’ima, described him as the light of their hearts, too young to die and whose sudden death left deep and lasting grief. “O God, make his grave a garden of Paradise, and grant patience to his mother, his father, and all who loved him. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return”, she concluded.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to Israeli forces.
