Airwars Assessment
On October 16, 2025, two people were reportedly injured by an alleged Israeli drone strike that hit citizens in Bani Suhaila, in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The incident was widely reported on social media with Facebook and Twitter users, including Palestine Post, @PalinfoAl and the Palestinian Refugee Portal, sharing similar information and referring to medical sources. However, none of the posts provided details regarding the wounded or the circumstances of the incident. Airwars will update the incident should new information come to light.
Based on the repetitive nature of the reporting and the lack of information on civilian harm, Airwars has graded the strike type of the incident as a “single source claim”, and the civilian harm status as “weak.”
