Up to five people were reported injured in an alleged U.S./Israeli strike on a radio station and a governor’s office in Dezful, Iran, at around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 28 February 2026. There were few details about the victims publicly available.
Donya-e-Eghtesad reported that the strike resulted in “no casualties and the staff of Radio Hamshahrian are safe.” The phrase used “تلفات انسانی نداشته”, encompasses injuries and fatalities. As such, this source has been taken to mean that no injuries or deaths resulted from the strike.
@dezfulgardi reported that three were wounded in the strike, and clarified that their “general condition” was good.
The Facebook page for Nobahar Newspaper reported five injured, a toll which was corroborated by most other sources. @aryentvfarsi, quoting the Public Relations Director of Dezful governorate, reported that the injured were “taken to [Ganjviyan] hospital and discharged after receiving treatment and outpatient surgeries.”
Reflecting the disparate account of injuries reported, the injury range has been recorded as zero to five. This will be updated should additional information become available.
Sources reported that a missile hit the Radio Tower, and that “parts of the governorate building were damaged following the attack.” According to @aminfardin, both radio station and the governor’s office were attacked.
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli and US military.
