On the 14 March 2026, a 54-year-old female civilian was killed during an alleged Israeli military operation east of Al-Maghazi Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip.
According to multiple local news agencies and social media reports, including Quds News Network and the Maghazi community page, the victim was identified as Asmaa Hussein Al-Sa’aidi (also known as Umm Muhammad Abu Shawarib). Sources indicated that she was killed after being shot in the neck by live ammunition fired by Israeli vehicles stationed east of the camp.
Facebook user “The Maghazi page brings us together” included a photograph of Asmaa, in a pink hijab, and requested prayers on her behalf.
The incident was widely reported by local outlets such as Awda Satellite Channel and WAFA News Agency, which confirmed that the shooting led to her immediate death.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to the Israeli military.
