The martyr Alaa Nader Awni Mushtaha, a 34-year-old Palestinian teacher in one of the state's schools, endured immense suffering twice over. She and her family lost their sister, martyred in Gaza during the Israeli aggression, which was effectively orchestrated by Iran. Then, she herself was martyred in the UAE as a result of a brutal Iranian attack. Her story encapsulates profound human anguish, as the pain extended from Gaza, Palestine, to the UAE. The heartbreaking story of this martyr will forever stand as a testament to the price paid by innocent people in these conflicts. May God have mercy on the martyrs and grant healing to the wounded.

الشهيدة آلاء نادر عوني مشتهى، معلمة فلسطينية في إحدى مدارس الدولة، تبلغ من العمر 34 عاماً. عاشت الألم واهلها مرتين؛ فقدت أختها شهيدة في غزة جراء العدوان الاسرائيلي على غزه الذي عمليا مهدت له ايران، ثم ارتقت هي شهيدة في دولة الإمارات إثر عدوان إيراني غاشم كذلك. قصة تختصر وجعاً إنسانياً عميقاً، حيث امتد الألم من غزة فلسطين إلى الإمارات، قصة هذه الشهيدة الموجعة ستبقى ذكراها شاهدة على ثمن الصراعات التي يدفعها الأبرياء رحم الله الشهداء وشافى المصابين

His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, offered his condolences on the death of Palestinian Alaa Nader Awni Mushtaha, who was a victim of the blatant Iranian attacks on UAE territory. During his visit to the mourning gathering at the Al Hawashim Majlis in Abu Dhabi, His Highness expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, praying to God Almighty to grant her His mercy, admit her to Paradise, and grant her family and loved ones patience and solace.

Nader Awni Fawzi Mushtaha, the father of Palestinian Alaa, who was killed by shrapnel in the Al Bahia area of Abu Dhabi as a result of the blatant Iranian attacks, expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, for the noble humanitarian support shown by the leadership, sheikhs, ministers, senior officials, citizens, and residents. He thanked them for their condolences to his family from the moment of his daughter's death, which had a profound and lasting impact on them. He told Al Khaleej newspaper, "Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. Alaa was a daughter of the UAE, and we ask God to grant long life to the sheikhs. They have stood by us from the moment of her death until now and have not fallen short in their support. Many sheikhs have visited us, and we received a special greeting from His Highness the President of the UAE, may God protect him. We ask God to grant them all long life and to perpetuate security and stability for the UAE and its people." He added that these noble stances can never be forgotten. We are truly sons of the Emirates; I am a Palestinian-Emirati, and my belonging to the Emirates is unwavering. All my children are Emirati. We ask God to perpetuate glory, love, tranquility, security, and safety for the UAE, to reward our leadership with all goodness, and to reunite us with the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, in the highest Paradise. May He protect the good people of the Emirates and never deprive us of them, and may He gather us all with them in the Gardens of Bliss. The Heart of the Home Speaking about his daughter, he said, “Alaa was truly the heart and soul of the home. She organized everything in the household, and recently she was deeply concerned about her siblings’ futures. She sought to help them with marriage, from choosing apartments and furnishing furniture to even participating in selecting brides. We valued her opinion on everything, big and small.” He added, “Her focus was entirely on her home and parents. I remember on her last night, she stayed with us at home even though she had work the next morning. At dawn, she found her mother preparing Eid sweets for family and neighbors, and she insisted on staying with her and helping, despite her mother's attempts to persuade her to rest because of her shift. She refused and stayed until about 2:30 a.m., then went to sleep. She woke up early the next morning, got ready, and around 8:00 a.m., left for work in her car without me being able to see her or say goodbye. Those were our last moments with her.” Religious Commitment Alaa’s father pointed to her religious commitment, saying, “She was diligent in her prayers, fasting, and all other acts of worship. She never missed a prayer, no matter the circumstances. She was keen on doing good deeds and participated extensively in initiatives to provide meals for those fasting. She gave everything she had to others. We ask God Almighty to accept her, grant her the highest Paradise, and make her an intercessor for us and her family.” Mohammed Nader Awni Mushtaha, Alaa's brother, said, "In her final days, may God have mercy on her and forgive her, she was very close to the house and its details. She was essentially responsible for all household affairs; she was the driving force, the true heart of life within the home." He added, "As young men, we would go to our jobs and work shifts, and when we returned, we would take a break. But she, despite being employed and returning at roughly the same time, would immediately begin attending to the household chores and responsibilities, taking great care to ensure the house was fully equipped." The martyr's brother expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the wise leadership's support, adding, "We extend our thanks to our wise leadership, may God bless them, for standing with us in our time of grief, for holding the mourning ceremonies, and for the visits of the esteemed sheikhs to the mourning house, whether by phone or official visit. This had a profound impact in easing our sorrow." He concluded his speech with a prayer: “We ask God to protect the United Arab Emirates, and to perpetuate its glory, security and safety. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, for the blessing of the Emirates.”

رفع نادر عوني فوزي مشتهى، والد الفلسطينية آلاء التي وقعت ضحية للاعتداءات الإيرانية السافرة إثر تعرضها لشظية بمنطقة الباهية في أبوظبي، أسمى آيات الشكر والتقدير والعرفان إلى القيادة الرشيدة برئاسة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة، حفظه الله، على الوقفة الإنسانية النبيلة من القيادة والشيوخ والوزراء وكبار المسؤولين والمواطنين والمقيمين، ومواساتهم لأسرته منذ لحظة وفاة ابنته مما كان له أثر عميق وكبير في نفوسهم. قال لـ «الخليج»، الحمد لله رب العالمين، آلاء بنت الإمارات، ونسأل الله أن يطيل في عمر الشيوخ، فقد وقفوا معنا منذ لحظة وفاتها وحتى الآن ولم يقصّروا، لقد زارنا العديد من الشيوخ كما وصلنا سلام خاص من صاحب السمو رئيس الدولة، حفظه الله، ونسأل الله أن يطيل في أعمارهم جميعاً، وأن يديم الأمن والاستقرار على الإمارات وشعبها. وأضاف أن هذه المواقف النبيلة لا يمكن أن ننساها أبداً، ونحن بالفعل أبناء الإمارات، فأنا فلسطيني إماراتي، وانتمائي للإمارات راسخ، وأبنائي جميعهم إماراتيون، نسأل الله أن يديم على دولة الإمارات العز والمحبة والاطمئنان والأمن والأمان، وأن يجزي قيادتنا كل خير، وأن يجمعنا مع المغفور له الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان، طيب الله ثراه، في الفردوس الأعلى، وأن يحفظ أهل الإمارات الطيبين ولا يحرمنا منهم، وأن يجمعنا بهم جميعاً في جنات النعيم. روح المنزل وتحدث عن ابنته قائلاً: «آلاء كانت بحق روح المنزل ومحوره، وكانت تنظم شؤون البيت في كل شيء، وفي الفترة الأخيرة كانت شديدة الاهتمام بمستقبل إخوتها، وتسعى إلى مساعدتهم في موضوع الزواج، من اختيار الشقق وتجهيز الأثاث وحتى المشاركة في اختيار العرائس، وكنا نأخذ برأيها في كل كبيرة وصغيرة». وأضاف: «كان اهتمامها منصباً على بيتها ووالديها بشكل كبير، وأذكر في ليلتها الأخيرة أنها جلست معنا في المنزل على الرغم من أن لديها دوام صباح اليوم التالي، وفي الفجر وجدت والدتها تُحضّر كعك العيد للأهل والجيران، فأصرت على البقاء إلى جانبها ومساعدتها، على الرغم من محاولات والدتها إقناعها بالراحة بسبب دوامها، لكنها رفضت وبقيت حتى نحو الساعة الثانية والنصف فجراً، وبعدها ذهبت للنوم، ثم استيقظت في الصباح الباكر وجهّزت نفسها، وفي حدود الساعة الثامنة تقريباً غادرت بسيارتها إلى عملها دون أن أتمكن من رؤيتها أو توديعها، وكانت تلك آخر لحظاتنا معها». التزام ديني أشار والد آلاء إلى التزامها الديني قائلاً: «كانت محافظة على صلاتها وصيامها وسائر العبادات، ولم تكن تترك فرضاً مهما كانت الظروف، وكانت حريصة على أعمال الخير، وتشارك بصورة كبيرة في مبادرات إفطار الصائمين، وكل ما في يدها كانت تبذله للآخرين، نسأل الله سبحانه وتعالى أن يتقبلها وأن يختار لها الفردوس الأعلى من الجنة، وأن يجعلها شفيعة لنا ولأهلها». فيما قال محمد نادر عوني مشتهى، شقيق آلاء: «في الفترة الأخيرة، رحمها الله وغفر لها، كانت قريبة جداً من البيت ومن تفاصيله، حتى إن جميع شؤون المنزل كانت تقوم عليها بشكل أساسي، فكانت المحرّك أو الحقيقي للحياة داخل البيت». وأضاف: «بالنسبة لنا نحن الشباب، كنا نذهب إلى أعمالنا ودواماتنا، وعندما نعود نأخذ قسطاً من الراحة، بينما كانت هي، على الرغم من كونها موظفة وتعود في الأوقات نفسها تقريباً، تبدأ مباشرة بالاهتمام بأعمال المنزل ومسؤولياته، بحرص كبير على أن يبقى البيت مكتفياً بكل احتياجاته». وأكد شقيق الشهيدة تقديره وامتنانه لمواقف القيادة الرشيدة، مضيفاً: «نتوجه بالشكر لقيادتنا الرشيدة، بارك الله فيهم، على وقفتهم معنا في مصابنا، وعلى إقامة مراسم العزاء، وعلى زيارات الشيوخ الكرام لبيت العزاء، سواء عبر الاتصال الهاتفي أو الزيارات الرسمية، لما كان لذلك من أثر كبير في التخفيف عنا». وختم حديثه بالدعاء: «نسأل الله أن يحفظ دولة الإمارات، وأن يديم عزها وأمنها وأمانها، والحمد لله رب العالمين على نعمة الإمارات».
