A child named Khaled Saif Al-Din Suleiman Arada, age 10 or 13, was killed by alleged Israeli gunfire while in a tent for displaced people in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

@Hani Alshaer reported that Khaled died as a result of being shot by a stray bullet. A WAFA correspondent, however, reported that Khaled had been shot by Israeli forces while he was inside his tent.

Most sources reporting on the incident wrote that the boy was 13 years old. However, his profile on the website Shireen Monitor indicated his age as 10.

Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the gunfire to the Israeli military.
