At least two civilians, a woman and a child, were reportedly killed and three others, including two children, were reportedly injured in alleged Israeli airstrikes on the Issa family home in Al Bureij camp on May 13th, 2021.
Palestinian Centre for Human Rights and Al Mezan provided similar summaries of this incident: at around 4:30pm on May 13th, Israeli missiles struck a home belonging to Mohammed Mahmoud Mohammed ‘Issa (42) from al-Bureij refugee camp killing his wife Manar Kahder Ahmed ‘Issa (Salamah) (39) and his daughter Lina Mohammed Mahmoud ‘Issa (13). In addition, 3 others were injured and they were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital for treatment.
Mohammed and his family’s entire home was completely destroyed, along with a few other homes close by, according to Defence for Children – Palestine.
@aali4573 added that in addition to the woman and her child, who died in the strikes, two other children survived the strikes and were rescued from the rubble. The victims of the strikes had to be removed from the rubble by a bulldozer.
Mohammed Mahmoud Mohammed ‘Issa, whose wife and daughter were killed in the strike, is a professor and was also injured in the strikes. A post from Shimaa Khaled on Facebook wished him a speedy recovery.
All of the sources that reported on the incident attributed the airstrikes to Israel.

Reports of the incident mention a house being struck east of Al Bureij Camp (مخيم البريج), for which the generic coordinates are: 31.4388035, 34.3936352. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
