Up to four civilians were reported injured when an alleged Israeli forces missile hit the Al-Zana area in the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip at 8am on August 6th 2022.

The number of civilians injured in this attack was reported to be “several”,  with reports of two, three and “at least four.” A Facebook post by Aziz.samir.969952 identified one of the injuries as being serious and added that the injured were taken to Nasser Medical Complex.

@hassaneslayeh tweeted that the bombing occurred near Al-Taqwa Mosque and @WAFA_PS reported that an Israeli drone fired a single missile at agricultural land, resulting in the injury of a number of civilians.

The missile also killed Tamim Ghassan Hijazi, aged 24, and Osama Abdelraham al-Souri, aged 27, who were members of Al-Quds, the militant wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Mondoweiss reported that Tamim and Osama were riding a motorcycle when they were both killed by the Israeli airstrike, with locals adding that Osama was leaving a nearby Islamic Jihad location just before.

All of the sources that reported on the incident attributed the strike to Israeli forces.
