Up to three civilians, including one to two children, were reported injured when an alleged Israeli forces missile hit agricultural land in Abasan, east of Khan Yunis on the Gaza Strip on August 6th 2022 at approximately 6pm.

According to Watan, a ten year old child, Nayef Khaled al-Owaidat from the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, was critically wounded said medical sources at the European Gaza Hospital.  He was reportedly on a visit to his grandfather, Maher Abu Latifa, east of Khan Yunis when he was wounded.

@PalinfoAr identified the injuries that the child sustained as being serious.

A tweet from @Ajyal_FM reported that two children and a young man were injured in the bombing of Abasan.

All of the sources that reported on the incident attributed the missiles to Israeli forces.
