Between nine and 10 civilians, including three children and two women, were injured in alleged Israeli airstrikes on a home in Al-Nasr village in northern Rafah on August 7, 2022.

The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights reported that at 4:45am on August 7, the Israeli Air Force launched a missile that struck near a house in Al-Nasr village in northern Rafah, which resulted in the injury of nine residents of the house and their neighbors, including three children and two women.

According to @bkdadaksa, among those injured were twin babies named Sherine and Jenin who were transferred to the European Hospital. The twins were reportedly named by their father, Muhammad Thabet, after the journalist Sherine Abu Aqleh who was killed in Jenin camp earlier this year.

@ShehabAgency tweeted that “injuries” resulted from the Israeli bombing of the home in Abu Thabet area of Al-Nasr but did not specify how many injuries. Tweets from @QabasBreaking and @ghasss001 put the number of injuries at 10 while @yaseralagha tweeted that “seven minor injuries arrived at Abu Yousef Al-Najjar hospital.”

All of the sources that reported on the incident attributed the strike to Israeli planes.
