Between four and 12 people were reported injured including children and women as a result of alleged Israeli forces airstrike which hit the Al-Tawahin area in Al-Shujaiya neighbourhood, east of Gaza City on August 7th 2022.

According to local sources the attack hit a family house belonging to Professor Fathi Shachsa and the house of Haji Abu Hisham Helles and that the injured arrived at Shifa hospital.

The number of injured civilians varied, for example Gaza Post reported on Facebook that there were eight injuries in Professor Shachsa’s house and Hady Fayyad reported on Facebook that there were 12 injuries between the two houses. @PalinfoAr added that children and women were among the injured.

@Alhadath_news1 and other local sources attributed the airstrikes to Israeli forces.
