On Saturday morning, April 2nd 2022, one civilian was injured by alleged Russian missile strikes hitting M. Gorky Park in the residential district of Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine.

Sources almost unanimously account that one civilian was injured, with Huyovy_kharkiv telegram channel and Hromadske specifying that the man was a 57-year-old landscaper that was working in the park during the attack. The man was reportedly hospitalized as reported by Kharkiv Times quoting the head of Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Sinegubov. The only sources mentioning casualties are Truexanewsua, generally reporting that “there are dead” as a result of the shelling on Saltovka and Kharkiv, without specifying where the deaths occurred.

The suspected attacker is alleged to be Russia, as reported by most of the sources including Kharkiv Times, Ukrinform, and Suspilne.media.
