Two Palestinian militants, Hussein Youssef Abdullah Dalloul and Muhammed Suleiman Khalil Dader, were killed and two civilians were injured following an alleged Israeli attack on the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City on May 11th 2023.

The attack reportedly took place when the two men were inside a car. According to Qudsnet, 32-year-old Muhammad Suleiman Khalil Dader was a field commander. He and 23-year-old Hussein Youssef Abdullah Dalloul were also said to be on duty at the time of their deaths and were residents of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

Al-Mezan reported that two civilians were injured, their injuries between serious and moderate, and that the injured were taken to Al-Shifa Medical Complex to be treated.

The Al-Mezan and Felesteen news reported that the strike was carried out by the Israeli Defence Forces and consisted of artillery shells, whilst Almojaz Media said the incident was a missile attack. Twitter user @AJA_Palestine commented that the victims were “targeted by enemy aircraft.” Felesteen Media also commented that the strike was carried out via air.
