Two women were injured on the 13th May 2023 as a result of an alleged Israeli missile strike on a house in Beit Lahiya roundabout in North Gaza, according to the Al-Mezan Centre for Human Rights.

The strike, which occured at approximately 10:05am local time destroyed the family home of Faraj Fathi Ahmed Banat, 39-years-old, as reported by Al-Mezan, Shehab News Agency, Quds Press, Twitter users @osamaabujamal, @tamerhamam and @Snd_pal. Al-Mezan described the two women’s injuries as minor.

The house was destroyed according to images provided by Twitter users @tamerhaman, @osamaabujamal and Shehab Agency. The strike was carried out by warplanes with further damage occurring to neighboring houses and the Sheikh Saad Mosque. According to Al-Mezan Centre for Human Rights, residents of the house were warned in advance by Israeli Defence Forces.

According to Al Mezan Centre for Human Rights, Shehab Agency, Quds Press and Twitter user @osamaabujamal the strike was carried out by the Israeli Defence Forces.
