Airwars assessment
On October 12, 2023, 15 civilians were reported injured by an alleged Israeli airstrike on the Abu Rizqa/Abu Zarqa home in Khan Younis. No other details were available about the victims and their condition.
@ShehabAgency tweeted that 15 people were injured in the Abu Rizqa family home near al-Shafi’i mosque in Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip after it was bombed. The source attributed the strike to the Israeli military. Other local sources reported similar information about casualties, with some mentioning the Abu Zarqa family home.

Reports of the incident mention a residential building being struck in the vicinity the Al Shaf’i Mosque (مسجد الشافعي), within the city of Khan Younis (خان يونس), for which the generic coordinates are: 31.351944, 34.287500. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
