Airwars Assessment

Last Updated: July 2, 2025

Injuries reportedly resulted from the bombing of security trucks for humanitarian aid in the airport area east of Rafah on July 3, 2024.

Mohamed Awad reported on Facebook that “injuries” resulted from a bombing “a group of security trucks in the airport area, east of the city of Rafah”. A tweet from @WaLiiD2024 provided similar information about a bombing of security for humanitarian aid trucks which resulted in injuries. It is unclear if those injured were working in humanitarian aid distribution.

While neither source directly attributed the bombing, the mention of “targeting” in the context of the conflict has been taken to indicate Israeli involvement, therefore this incident has been graded as a “single source claim”.
