Airwars assessment
In the early afternoon on June 7th 2024 an alleged Israeli bombing hit a house belonging to the Issa family in the vicinity of Bisan Medical Center in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. A number of injuries were reported, and calls were made for ambulances to go to the scene.
The initial report came from Al Qastal News that at approximately 1.30 pm civilians were injured as a consequence of an alleged Israeli airstrike in the vicinity of Bisan Medical Center. Shortly thereafter Shehab Agency posted an urgent alert detailing a number of injuries at a house for the Issa family in the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Information Center and qudsfeed among other media and social media sources quoted the same statement soon after. Paldf.net and Quds News Network additionally reported calls for ambulances to go to the incident location.
As the exact number of injuries was not specified, Airwars has accounted for at least two injuries given references to injured civilians in the plural. This figure will be updated should further information come to light.
Where the sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli military.
