Airwars assessment
On Saturday, November 4th 2023, at least five people, reportedly waste collection employees and displaced people, were reported injured in an alleged Israeli airstrike outside Al-Quds Hospital in the Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood of Gaza City.
According to Facebook users Hakim Djaramou and Nacer Nacer, a “number of displaced individuals in the hospital” sustained injuries from the attack. Safa News separately reported that five municipal waste collection workers were injured in the incident. Names and other identifying information was not made publicly available, nor was information regarding the severity of the injuries.
Shehab Agency Twitter account reported the incident occurred in front of the gate of Al-Quds Hospital in Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood, southwestern of Gaza City. Facebook user Khalid Hindam stated that the building struck was across the street.
A photo shared by Ahmed Turki on Facebook captured the extent of the damage, showing a collapsed apartment building, destroyed solar panels, and damaged vehicles in the street as people rushed toward the site of the incident.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to Israeli forces.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
