Airwars assessment
Shortly before 9:29 AM on November 4th, 2023, an alleged Israeli airstrike reportedly struck the home of the Aslim family located at the beginning of Mansoura Street in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, reportedly resulting in the death and injury of a number of people.
In a tweet, the Shehab Agency reported that there were a number of people who were killed and injured as a result of an airstrike on the Aslim family home. Additional details about the victims were not found in local sources.
A screenshot of a text conversation posted to Facebook by Moein al-Dabba showed images of a man carrying a child from what appears to be an ambulance. A second image showed a young boy being escorted from a similar van. However, as he mentioned several attacks, it is not clear whether the images were related to the current incident.
According to a post by Shadi Press, the Aslim family home was one of four houses in Gaza that were hit by airstrikes over an hour. Mahmoud Al-Sarsak posted to Facebook, “Our family street in Shuja’iyya neighborhood (Mansoura) is a ghost town after the destruction and bombing that befell it…”, along with several pictures of a street lined with rubble and debris.
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strikes to the Israeli military.
The incident occured in the morning.
