On the 4th of November of 2023, an alleged Israeli airstrike hit Market Street, located in the center of the Jabalia Refugee Camp, in North Gaza, the Gaza strip, where according to the sources reporting the incident, “dozens of displaced people were present”; at least six civilians, including three children, were injured.
Multiple local sources reported on “a number of injuries” but did not provide a toll. However, sources also shared several images of the incident, in which six injured victims can be seen; their identities remain unknown. In one of the images, a male child wearing grey sweatpants can be seen being carried into the hospital in the arms of a middle-aged man wearing a blue T-shirt. Some wounds can be seen on his arm and ankle.
In another picture, another body completely covered in bandages can be seen being carried in the arms of a medic who is wearing dark pants and a white and neon vest. They are standing next to an ambulance, most likely walking in the direction of the hospital’s entrance.
A third image taken in the same spot shows another victim lying on a stretcher being pushed by two medics. The injured victim has a bandage on the head, blood on the face and hands, and is covered by a white blanket and can be seen to be wearing a red shirt and green trousers.
A fourth picture taken inside the hospital portrays another body completely covered in bandages as well, lying on an orange stretcher carried by a man wearing a blue T-shirt and another man wearing an official uniform.
The fifth graphic picture shows two men carrying a child wearing a green T-shirt imprinted with an astronaut drawing and grey pants. The child is seemingly unconscious and has blood on the arm and stomach.
Lastly, two more pictures show a little girl seemingly unconscious, with her face and hands covered in blood and her body wrapped in a red blanket lying on an orange stretcher inside an ambulance.
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli military.
