On November 4, 2023, one female victim named as Lamis Redad Abu Ramadan died from wounds sustained during an artillery strike on a house in Khan Younis in Gaza on or before October 27, 2023.

A notice of Lamis’ death was posted on Facebook by her father, Redad Abu Ramadan, stating that “[his] daughter Lamis was martyred” on November 4, 2023. According to his Facebook page, Lamis had been recuperating in a hospital following the shelling, and posts had been made calling for prayers for her recovery dating back to October 27, 2023.

Further memorials were posted by Stereo Shahib and Mr. Abdul Rahim Shawan mourning her passing. This culminated in a report by Safa News Agency on her death, posted on November 5, 2023.

While none of the sources that reported on Lamis’ death specified who was responsible, multiple sources referred to a “shelling” or “bombing”. However, as “shelling” and “bombing” are more likely to refer to Israeli forces based on their capabilities, this incident has been graded as a “single source claim” with attribution to Israel until more information comes to light.
