On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, an alleged Israeli airstrike killed and injured a large number of people when the strike hit the Sarsour family home on al-Nadim Street near the Habib junction in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Twitter/X account @PalpostN was the first to report the incident at 1:43 p.m., reporting injuries and deaths. At 1:51 p.m., the news agency @Sa7atPl updated the information, writing about a large number of deaths and injuries.

Safa.ps also reported a “large number” of civilians killed and injured at 2:57 p.m. Hani Alshaer and AlrayAgency reported in posts on Facebook that “dozens” were killed in this airstrike, whereas the other news outlets and individual posts referenced a “large number” of injuries and deaths.

Where sources named a belligerent, all sources claimed the Israeli military was responsible. According to the Genocide in Gaza website, the attack happened without prior warning.
