On 8th November 2023, Israeli shelling allegedly struck the Al-Sabra neighbourhood in Gaza City, resulting in at least eight civilian deaths and dozens of injuries, most of whom were children. No additional details were found as to who the victims were.

Multiple local sources quoted an Al Jazeera correspondent in reporting “Eight martyrs and dozens of wounded, most of them children” from the Israeli shelling, while other sources, including Al Haya Palestine, mentioned “martyrs and wounded” without providing additional details.

Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strikes to the Israeli military.

Reports of the incident mention the neighbourhood of Al-Sabra (حي الصبرة) in Gaza City (مدينة غزة), for which the generic coordinates are: 31.508298, 34.450736. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
